What do I bring? What do you think looks good in photos?
Anything that makes you feel confident and sexy! I recommend bringing a pair of heels. Bring what makes you feel both sexy and comfortable. A variety of looks and colors work well in an album. If you're not sure what to wear, bring it all! I'll help you make your selections. Here are some recommendations...
Push-up bra and panty sets
Lacy boy shorts
An all black outfit, an all white outfit
Men's button-down shirt
If you're getting married, the tie your fiancé will wear on your wedding day
If you're getting married, your veil
Bold colors like red, pink, emerald green, blue, teal
Where should I go shopping?
While many clients go to Victoria's Secret and Frederick's of Hollywood, I've also seen some great stuff from Macy's and H&M.
Can I bring a friend?
Sure, if that makes you more comfortable.
Can I bring my husband/fiancé/boyfriend?
This makes me uncomfortable, so I’d prefer you leave him home and surprise him with the photos later!
Do you do nudes?
Yes, I do tasteful nudes.
Do I have to get nude?
Nope, you can be as covered as you like.
Do I have to look like a supermodel to have boudoir photos taken?
Absolutely not! Any size and age are welcome.
Do you offer makeup and hair stylist services?
Not at this time, but I can recommend a few in the area.
How do I select my photos for an album?
Photos from your session are posted to my online client proof gallery for you to select the photos you want in your album. Photos in the gallery are color-corrected. The photos you select will be professionally touched up for the album.
Do you touchup the photos?
Yes, each image you order for an album, prints, disc, etc is professionally retouched.
How long does it take to get my photos?
It depends on the package. Typically you can expect to view your photos on my client proof gallery in 2 to 4 weeks. During wedding season (April – November), turnaround times may be longer. If you need the photos for a specific date (like your wedding or anniversary), I suggest booking 2 months before the date.
Do you send my photos out to a third party for albums and prints?
Yes, I work with professional printers and album companies.
Will you post my photos on your blog or website?
Given the sensitive nature of boudoir photography, I never post photos without permission from my clients. They must approve each photo individually before I post them. If they allow me to use the photos in my portfolio, I can remove them any time if they change their mind. I never use names on my blog or website.
